Broadcast Utilities are application tools ready for download and use that were specifically developed for broadcast related functions and task. The applications in this section were either developed by and in use at RFA, have been shared with and in use at RFA or have been downloaded to this site. The applications are written in various programming languages and are as complete as possible with the all available documentation, source code and installation program included in the download package.

Broadcast Utilities download packages currently include:
- CartWall- Cart Wall was designed to emulate an "in-the-day" four stack analog cart machine. As a multiple virtual Cart Machine Cart Wall is used where instant on-demand play is required for multiple audio files stored locally or in network assessable locations. The four virtual independent cart-machines each have separate transport control, level meters and informational displays and also independently offer advanced features loading playlist and timed start.
- Studio Slate- To save tress and keep broadcasters from passing notes between the control room and studio, Studio Slate was designed be a shared virtual whiteboard. The Studio Slate applications also functions as an IM text message program, Web synchronized time clock and an up or down stopwatch with a sync option between the users.
- WAV Chunk Support- WAV file Chunk Programs various applications that are capable of reading and writing chunk information into WAV audio files. This includes CartChunk.Org's WaveView and the CartChunk Editor. These applications allow access to Cart Chunks (AES Standard AES46-2002), EBU 'bext' and 'mext' chunks, and standard RIFF fmt and fact chunks. The applications allow users to embed common metadata labeling information directly into audio WAV files.
- Yulghun Editor- Part of broadcast support at RFA is to also support multiple Asian languages; Yulghun Editor is a Uyghur language Unicode-based word processor that fully supports Unicode 4.0 standard.
- KhmerOS- KhmerOS is a Cambodian based initiative with the goal of integrating a Unicode based Khmer language into computer Operating Systems and program applications. The latest packages for KhmerOS are offered for download.
